SafeStat Summary Report -- Column Definitions |
| The SafeStat Summary Report displays the most current
month's SafeStat results followed by the last five semi-annual runs (run
in March and September).

| Service Center - The
service center number identifies the entity which has juridiction over the
carrier.
|
| ST - The state code that
identifies where the carrier is domiciled.
|
Number of Census Carriers -
The number of carriers in the Census file that are eligible to be processed by SafeStat.
These include interstate carriers and Hazmat intrastate carriers.

Percentage of Census Carriers -
The percentage of the state's eligible carriers compared to the eligible National total.
|
Total Power Units -
The total number of owned, term-leased or trip-leased large self-propelled commercial vehicles. These include
tractors, trucks, hazmat tank trucks, motor coaches, and school buses. Small vehicles (such as
minivans and limosines) and towed vehicles (such as trailers) are not included.

Number of Scored Carriers -
The number of carriers domiciled in the state that scored 75 or above on two or more SEAs.
|
Percentage of Scored Carriers -
The percentage of scored carriers in a state based on the total number of carriers domiciled in that state.
|
Scored Carrier's Power Units -
The total number of power units owned or term-leased by carriers that were scored and domiciled in that state.

| CAT A - A SafeStat
category in which a carrier's SafeStat Score ranges from
350-550.
|
| CAT B - A SafeStat
category in which a carrier's SafeStat Score ranges from
225-350.
|
| CAT C - A SafeStat
category in which a carrier's SafeStat Score ranges from
150-225.
|
| CAT D - A SafeStat
category in which a carrier has only 1 SEA and it is the Accident
SEA.
|
| CAT E - A SafeStat
category in which a carrier has only 1 SEA and it is the Driver
SEA.
|
| CAT F - A SafeStat
category in which a carrier has only 1 SEA and it is the Vehicle
SEA.

| CAT G - A SafeStat
category in which a carrier has only 1 SEA and it is the Safety Management
SEA.
